I'm Very Proud of Myself

I have been artistic/creative-ish...
The justice theater group for the Honors College needed a name. And I was struck by creativity. This doesn't happen very often. "Act for Justice." Oh yeah. And then, when we have a show..."The students of 'Act for Justice' present an act of justice." Oh yeah. So then we needed a logo. Ladies and gentlemen, I present for your viewing pleasure...the one and only visual triumph of my life.

Did you know that when Mark did the work for the MI Supreme Court that they insisted that the blindfold be removed from the Justice figure? He protested vigorously, but couldn't sway whoever was making the decisions.

Wow. I debated what to make the logo, but that seemed the best. I did have to hunt for a while before I found a lady who had a cane rather than a sword...I didn't particularly want us to use a symbol of violence in our main icon.

So you're saying Justice is lame?

Nice, Jon. That's not what I was going for, but to eachhis own.

No, no, justice is blind.
Maybe if you put a little red stripe at the bottom of the cane it would be more clear.

and by the way, it seriously is a great logo.

Thanks, Papa. I like it rather a lot. Red stripe...good grief. I think that might take us into the realm of non-seriousness.
