WS Midterm!

It's the week before spring break...and that means midterms! Just finished my midterm on "Gender, Religion, and Sexuality." No sweat - the biggest problem is that, thanks to my beloved laptop, I don't know how to write by hand anymore! Two hours of handwriting is taxing. My hand will take an hour to recover. Haha.

Church in the UK

I sent emails via the websites to a Methodist Church and a Unitarian Church in Norwich, asking for information about their services and any housing recommendations they have. Received a response from the Unitarians and they're circulating my housing request in the congregation...haven't heard back from the Methodists. Silly Methodists. :)

"Happy" Lent

In the Christian tradition, we have entered the season of Lent...preparation for Good Friday and Easter with a combination of sorrow and joy.
For others, Passover is close - this is a rare year, since Passover and Good Friday overlap.

Excellence in Diversity Award

It was delightful to see Laura, Mark, Chris, and Granna today at the Excellence in Diversity Awards Ceremony. Much love to you all, and thank you for your wonderful support!

My favorite weekend has come to campus. Last Friday and today, I got to speak with 1200 future Spartans and their parents at the Alumni Distinguished Scholarship Weekends. Always a blast to hear about high schoolers' interests and dreams. And encourage them to come to MSU, of course!
