"Running"

I've been running this week, to use the term lightly, in the basement of Snyder-Phillips. Given the crap I have from the cold, I thought running outside in 32 degrees wasn't the best idea. Energy levels have been pretty good. My running is pretty wimpy, but I'm having no problem getting through my sit-ups, wall push-ups, and leg lifts.

Rebecca Leanne! You cannot go a week without eating food while continuing to burn many hundreds of calories/day in physical exercise like that!

Heehee. Sure I can. I'm not burning all that many calories while running, given how pathetic the running is. And I would argue it's actually better for me to continue said physical activity, as it keeps my body eating my fat rather than my muscle.

I like Becca's theory, but my energy levels do not seem to be cooperating. Being middle-aged does not seem to be as much fun, physically, as being younger.

Really? Hmm. One of the weirdest things for me is that this year, unlike last year, I'm craving junk food and desserts, not actual food. This is probably due to the partial fast I went through all of Lent...my body doesn't even care about food at this point, it's become so accustomed. But I want yummy stuff!
