Julia at GenCen is joking that she and I are doing a "Dog and Pony" show this week - we're "touring" campus for a couple of events doing updates on queer studies. Talking about what "queer studies" means and the politics of naming (queer studies, LBGTQ studies, sexuality studies), the current and future status of queer studies at MSU, and how students can begin exploring understandings of sexuality and gender academically.
Should be a fun time!
