Not sure how this is at all noteworthy... I've never encountered a linguistics or psych professor who has ever signed anything but their first name...
You need to add linguistics and/or psychology so you can have more of these happy moments.
I have plenty of other profs who sign first name. But for Madison thesis prof, it was pretty exciting. And, let's face it...it's just me being super excited about everything that happens in life.
