It occurred to me that Neville has never made an official appearance on the blog...ladies and gentlemen, Neville says "hi."
(Neville is my lovely Mac laptop, generously provided by Bubba when he got himself a MacAir.)

Hello, Neville. It's not like *I* ever need to receive any of Gregory's castoffs. But let me know when Becca gets tired of Percy, I'm always willing to take castoffs that were replaced by other castoffs...
Hey! You turned down poor Neville, he'll have you know. He knows when and where he's not wanted.
Neville and Percy get along very well and frequently play together.

I find it difficult to believe that Percy would ever notice Neville, except when he misbehaves.
Did I really turn down Neville? I don't remember that, but I suppose it's possible. (OK, so I don't remember much these days.) It wasn't from lack of love for him, I assure you... apparently I must love my daughter and think she could make good use of a Mac! What a great dad.
According to Gregory, you told him while he was contemplating the purchase of the MacAir that both you and I were perfectly happy with our PCs and had no need for Neville. When he and I were chatting later, I told him Percy and I would be only to happy to welcome him to our family.
Hmmph. "Perfectly happy" doesn't mean "I wouldn't enjoy having it." It just means "No, I refuse to be your excuse to buy a Mac Air."
I shall suffer along with the two laptops and 8 desktops under my control.
